| Mine has been on the bed for a week. I have not noticed any odor or feather leakage. Perhaps the people having odor problems have not gotten them throughly dry. Even the most expensive comforter will smell like wet bird. I owned a laundry and washed many down comforters. They are never the same after they are washed and I would not wash a new one. They take much longer to dry than people think and should be dried slowly on med. heat. This is a true red, very hard to find. The fabric is very soft on the skin, ideal for people like us that don't like a top sheet. I will probably order another to have when this one wears out. |

| i love this comforter, its not too heavy but keeps me warm and is very very comfortable. |

| Product is as advertised. It is light on the bed, but keeps you warm. The stitching is in squares/blocks so the distribution of the down is equal. Recommend putting it in the washer before you put in on your bed, has an odd smell from the packaging. |

No odor, no feathers leaking, either. From the first day I used it, every time I push my hand down on it, it plumps right up.
I keep my thermostat down to save on gas bills, and this certainly helps.
I have read the reviews about problems with washing, so I'm going to look for a cover for it, so I'll just wash that instead.

| I have been looking for a black down comforter everywhere! I ordered a king size black down comforter for $79! The price could not be beat. Yes it did smell weird from the package, which is to be expected. I used febreeze on it and put it in the dryer with bounce sheets and it smelled wonderful! I had no problems with feathers coming out of it. It is so soft and comfy. I love it! |
